About Neil
Property Investor, Author and Business Owner. Former Estate Agency Owner & Business Broker.
I’m a property investor and business owner with over 20 years of experience across residential and commercial property in Essex.
I’ve built and managed a multi-property portfolio, operated a lettings business and worked across acquisitions, sales and refinancing through multiple market cycles – including the 2008 financial crash and the post COVID market highs in 2020 – 2025.
That experience shapes how I think about risk & long-term decision making.
How it started
I started my property journey in 2005 while still working full time, building my portfolio alongside employment before transitioning into running my own property business full-time.
That journey – from employee to investor to business owner – is what shapes how I think about risk, decision making and long-term strategy today.
I worked with a mentor from day one who helped to advise, guide & encourage me to take action towards my own goals and targets.
Experience across the property & business landscape
I’ve operated across multiple sides of property and business, giving me a broader perspective than most investors.
- Property Investor & Landlord across residential and commercial assets
- Former Owner of an Estate Agency Business
- Owner of a Lettings Business managing multi-property portfolios
- Business Transfer Agent selling pubs, bars, hotels, care homes and nurseries
- Franchise Partner & Mentor with Platinum Property Partners
Earlier in my career:
- Business Development Officer within local Government
- Worked on Inward Investment & Business Retention projects within the Thames Gateway regeneration area.

Author – ‘Wage Slave to Financial Freedom’
I’m the author of ‘Wage Slave to Financial Freedom’, which documents my journey from full time employment into building a property-based business and financial independence.
The book focuses on practical decision making, risk awareness, setting goals and the realities of building wealth through property – not just the theory.
It continues to resonate with investors who want a clearer, more grounded approach to property and long-term financial planning.
